Bebal, one of my father Paimon’s minions, killed Jacob and utterly destroyed our warehouse headquarters. The rest of us barely escaped with our lives.

Now the only hope we have of destroying the head honcho demon king—who just happens to be my Daddy Dearest— is a piece of an ancient weapon and an incomplete ancient scroll.

When I start to have vivid dreams of Jacob’s torture, it’s just a matter of putting together the pieces. But in order for us to play this game of demon roulette and win, Carter’s going to have to come face-to-face with his TORTURED PAST—a past he has worked so hard to bury.
